Red Rock Hydroelectric Project

•Owner/operator is Missouri River Energy Services, located on the Des Moines River southwest of Pella, IA
•FERC License 36.4MW, Peak Capacity 55MW if water is available
•178,000 MWH Annual Estimated Average (enough power to supply all homes in Marion county, about 14,000 homes)
•Interconnection to electrical grid via transmission line to Pella, IA
•Construction began August 2014 to Completion of All Work —August 2019
•As of August 1, 2017: over 676,240 man hours; over 65,894 cubic yards of concrete placed and over 5,468 tons of rebar installed
